Flight, with Ise

This painting was done in collaboration with friend and graffiti artist Ise from Sao Paolo, Brazil. The wall was provided by Jonathan Ellis, a wonderful community organizer who got permission for multiple walls in the neighborhood to be painted by various local and international graffiti artists.

It is one of Yamasaki’s all time favorites for it’s simplicity and Ise’s wonderful use of flat color in the background. The painting was a two day project in the freezing cold days of early December.
